1. Program Overview
Regional Security Group ("RSG," "we," "us") operates the ODIN text messaging program (the "Program") to deliver security advisories, shift notifications, threat alerts, and account-related communications to enrolled users. By opting into the Program and providing your mobile number, you consent to receive SMS messages from us at the number you provide.
2. Non-Sharing of Mobile Numbers
We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your mobile number with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile number is used solely to deliver Program messages and related account communications. We do not share mobile numbers with third parties except as required by law, or with our service providers (e.g., our SMS gateway provider) who are contractually bound to protect your information and use it only for the purpose of delivering messages on our behalf.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on the type of communications you have opted in to receive. You may receive up to the following approximate frequencies:
- Shift & operational notifications: 1–10 messages per week
- Threat alerts & critical advisories: Variable, based on active incidents in your area
- Account & MFA verification: Only when triggered by your account activity
You will not receive more than 30 messages per month unless a critical safety event requires additional alerts.
4. Message and Data Rates May Apply
Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging and data rates charged by your mobile carrier may apply to messages sent or received through the Program. RSG does not charge for messages, but your carrier's standard rates will apply. Check your mobile carrier's rate plan for details.
5. Opting Out
You may opt out of the Program at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any message received — this immediately cancels your subscription.
- Replying HELP to any message for support information.
- Replying UNSUBSCRIBE to any message.
- Contacting us at 1.844.705.6278 or office@regional-security.com.
After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. No further messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe.
6. Information We Collect
To provide the Program, we collect your mobile number, your name, and the types of messages you have opted in to receive. We also log message delivery status for operational troubleshooting. This information is stored in accordance with our main Privacy Policy and is retained only as long as necessary to provide the Program.
7. Data Retention
We retain mobile numbers and message logs for the duration of your enrollment in the Program plus a reasonable period thereafter for audit and compliance purposes, not to exceed 24 months after you opt out.
8. Carrier Intermediation
Messages are delivered through our SMS service provider (Twilio). Twilio may log message metadata (including your mobile number and delivery status) as part of its standard operations. Twilio's privacy practices are governed by its own privacy policy.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this SMS Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued participation in the Program after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
